On the 10th of February , there is a quite big event held by my school in Bika Soga Bandung. It's called maksi which is the short term for malam ansi. Malam means night and aksi means event. So, its an event that is held in the night time. Many attractive performers perform in maksi. There are various bands, dance group, and dramas performed. My dance team has a chance to perform on maksi. Our group's name is hype. From the name, you can tell that our group is pretty lit. |

Not everyone can perform in maksi. There was an audition where many performers are selected. The one who is not accepted can't perform in maksi. While the one who is accepted can perform in maksi. I am thankful that our group was accepted and we are able to perform our dances in maksi. It's not a short process for us to prepare for the event. Maksi which was held on February 2017, we started to practice on November 2016. We faced many struggles in preparing. We have to give some of our time for practicing. For me, all our efforts are worth it because its such a once-in-a-time experience that not anyone could experience it. We are lucky to be able to show our dance skills to people. It also gives us a new experience.
I thank the school for holding such a wonderful event where students can show their skill to others. By holding an event like maksi, students are encouraged to participate in performing. Also, Maksi gives a new experience to students who are able to perform.
